Peruánský velvyslanec Dr. Alberto Salas Barahona s Ing.

Miroslava Zikmunda a PhDr.

Určitě ještě stojí za zmínku alespoň tři velmi významné akce, jedna v „Instituto Cervantes Praga“ pod záštitou peruánské velvyslankyně J. E. Marity Landaveri Porturas dne  12.5.2015 s názvem „Projekty, expedice a objevy: retrospektivní pohled na Peru“ (viz foto Marita Landaveri a Otto Horský), druhá dne 9.září 2016, vernisáž trvalé výstavy fotografií a dokumentů Otto Horského v zámku Letovice s názvem „Padesát let spolupráce s Peru“ pod záštitou peruánské velvyslankyně J. E. Liliany DeOlarte de Torres-Muga, třetí dne 24 června 2017 na zámku v Letovicích věnovaná poctě Eduarda Ingriše, rovněž pod záštitou peruánského velvyslanectví.

Hanu Zelenkouvou, CSc a velvyslance  Mgr.Ing.

Article in the Book "Twenty Years of Club H + Z, page 16-18

When Jiri Hanzelka and Miroslav Zikmund left the Prague Autoklub in 1947 on a journey around the world, I was just 9 years and 11 days old. I would have lied to say that at the age of nine I was informed and understood the significance of this unique event. I was fully interested in reading the novels of Karl May, Eduard Štorch, travelers Enrique Stanko Vráze, Albert Vojtěch Frič and others. The star H + Z was just coming out to later shake off everything that was before. But it did not take long, and I was fully interested in the continent of Latin America and the desire to get closer to the life of the Indians. It was already written in the 1950s and radio reports of already famous young travelers from their journey to South and Central America I listened with real admiration and passion. I started making plans for their success.

Because I chose geology as my profession, my imaginations of visits to far-off countries were unrealistic. But I still did not know that it would not be so easy. After completing geology, it took fourteen years of professional and language training before I was sent in 1974 as an expert and diplomat in one person to run a newly established technical office in Lima, Peru. Of course I was familiar with all the available literature about Peru and South America before departure and a valuable source of knowledge was books and very objective reports by engineers Hanzelka and Zikmund. The two young travelers so enchanted me that after my return from Peru, I was the initiator of a commercial promotion tour on the continent of South and Central America "In the footsteps of travelers Hanzelka and Zikmund" in 1976. Unfortunately, it was a time of hard normalization, and we had to choose another cover name because of the despotism of the two famous travelers. As a companion of the trip, I chose Milan Švihálka and Jiří Vrožina from Ostravská televize (with whom I shot an almost half-hour television show called "Peruvian insights" in June of that year) and journalist Jaromír Musial. After about half a year of preparation, when we were sponsored by nearly fifty thousand dollars and two cars from Škoda and it was arranged to shoot promotional films in several destinations in South America, the Director of Czechoslovak Television, through my repeated personal urgency, did not allow her two employees to do so. While at the time our act would be unique, today, thanks to happy circumstances, anyone can walk in the footsteps of our famous traveling couple and many followers have already been found.

Many years have passed since my attempt to travel on H + Z tracks in 1976. In the years to come, I concentrated mainly on my engineering and geological exploration for dams both at home and abroad, especially in Cuba and Spain. When I was in the 2004 "Titicaca.2004.CZ" expedition, led by historian Ivo Barteck, I was left for roughly two months for hard terrain conditions and a journey of several thousand kilometers with a car with everything connected with it. Just two months. And I really enjoyed our missions ending up and going back to normal life. At that time, I realized that the nearly ten-year H + Z car trip on many continents was not only a great adventure but also true heroism. And here begins the beginning of my cooperation with the H + Z Club. My lectures and the opening of the photographic exhibition on the professional expedition "Titicaca 2004" at the Zlín Museum on January 19, 2007 was attended by Ing. Miroslav Zikmund. When I went to greet him, he simply told me, "I came because I wanted to know you." I immediately felt like we had known each other for years.

At this point, it is worth mentioning that since the beginning of 2006 I have begun to work with the Peruvian Embassy in Prague, especially with the ambassador, JE Albert Salas Baraon. I was attracted by my activities directed since 1974 to the deepening of mutual friendly relations of cooperation between our countries and, in particular, my beginning cooperation with the H + Z Club. Together with Mrs. Nina Ingriš, wife of Eduard Ingriš, living in Brno, with whom I met in 2006, we agreed that with the support of the H + Z Club, we would ask for the award of the State Medal of Peru "Orden al Mérito por Servicios Distinguidos" for Eduard Ingris , In memoriam. Request for President Peru, J. E. Dr. Alan García Pérez I prepared and prepared in Spanish in 30 languages in the Spanish language, including the accompanying documentation and the signatures of important Czech personalities, including Ing. Miroslav Zikmund and PhDr. Ivan Plánka, director of the South Moravian Museum in Zlín, was sent via Peruvian embassy to Peru. Since the state decorations, as we were told, are only granted to perpetrators in Peru, in September 2009 the Peruvian government approved the posthumous awarding of a memorial plaque to Eduard Ingris with the following text:

Recognition and gratitude for his extensive and important work as a peruvian musician, anthropology, scientific research, film and photography, a work in which he showed great love for Peru, and that friendly ties and mutual recognition between Peru and the Czech Republic are constantly being strengthened."

On February 12, 2010, one day after the day when Eduard Ingriš would live for 105 years, Ms. Nina Ingriş took this high award from the Peruvian Ambassador Alberto Salas Barahona in Zlín. How symbolic. In February Eduard's friend Miroslav Zikmund was born, in February he was also the anniversary of the death of Jiří Hanzelka, and after February 1948 Ingriš decided to stay in Peru. The logical outcome of my cooperation with the H + Z Club was my admission to the Club as a full member, approved at the annual member meeting on February 15, 2008 with club number 36.

Since its inception, the H + Z Club in Zlín has done a lot of work in the sense of this basic idea, ie maintaining the spiritual link of both engineers. It is rightly mentioned "engineers" and not travelers, because their large link affects many areas and is hard to suffer with one expression. However, the H + Z Club is not anonymous, they are the people, its members who deserve the most and still deserve to fulfill this link. That's why I decided to contribute with my little work, and in the next ten years after I joined the Club I continued to deepen cooperation between the Peruvian Embassy and the H + Z Club. When she met Ms. Liliana DeOlarte de Torres Muga in her residence in Prague in June 2016, she learned about my cooperation in June 2016, she was particularly interested in the personalities of Miroslav Zikmund and Jiří Hanzelka engineers, H + Z and wanted to learn more about Eduard Ingris' immortal work. She was particularly interested in his music, because she also has music education and plays very well on the guitar. My information about his song "Perú, mi amor", which was given to the first lady of Peru, wife of President Odría, took her so much that she immediately declared that she would let her sing in Spanish. It was not easy to get notes and the Spanish text of the song. I visited Mrs. Nina Ingriš in Brno, but she told me that she did not have these notes or the text, but she remembered well the song, as well as the Czech text, in which, in particular, the second verse always impressed her with tears. She literally said: "This clearly proves that Eduard still thought of his home, his country, as he wrote clearly in the second half, what he expressed in these few words and his despair at home and his love for his homeland." Mrs. Nina she eventually recommended me to turn to H + Z Club, the Eduard Ingris archive at the Zlín Museum, which I did. I highly evaluated that the director of that archive, PhDr. Magdalena Preiningerova scanned the notes and sent them immediately. And most of all, it is admirable that the 30th of September 2016 in the noble concert hall of Jan Deyla Conservatory, Maltézské nám. 14, Lesser Town, Prague 1, under the auspices of Foreign Minister Lubomír Zaorálek and under the patronage of the Ambassador of Peru I.E. Mrs. Liliana DeOlarte de Torres-Muga with the participation of the diplomatic corps and many important guests, the song was presented by the acclaimed Peruvian mezzo-soprano Fatima Espinosa de Zavala from Lima, accompanied by the excellent Peruvian pianist Manuel Sanchez.

After the great success of the world premiere of the song Perú mi amor, the ambassador decided to have some of his other works. For this purpose, together with me, the archive of Eduard Ingris visited the Zlín Museum and thanks to the great kindness of PhDr. Magdalena Preiningerova had all the materials she had chosen to be chosen to be sent out. It must be added that many of Eduard Ingris music materials were handed over to the previous Peruvian ambassadors, first by Alberto Salas Barahona (2007), after the arrival of Marita Landaveri Porturas, an eminent interest, according to her statement, the world-famous Peruvian quenista Vlado Urlich, who has been living in Prague since 2009, where he collaborates on major projects such as Jaroslav Svěcený and Michal Dvořák. However, if some of Eduard Ingriše's songs have been taken up in his repertoire, it is not known to me.

If I have to comment on my other activities in favor of the H + Z Club, which may be worth mentioning, it is not enough for just a few pages. Just look at my last book on Vita est and tortuosis iter - Life is a winding way (© 2017), where only the chapter on my activities in the H + Z Club includes 14 pages, foreign replies of 16 pages, press releases and 14 pages of media. The book also contains my television and especially radio performances, to which I invited members of the club, Žižkaś  husband and MUDr. Hana Zelenkova and also includes my joint performance with Mrs. Nina Ingriš in Zlín. A total of 12 pages is dedicated to my power-point presentations and lectures, which have always mentioned the name of our club and the personality of Miroslav Zikmund and Eguard Ingris. Certainly worth mentioning are at least three very important events, one at Instituto Cervantes Praga, under the auspices of Peruvian Ambassador Maritza Landaveri Porturas on May 12, 2015 entitled "Projects, expeditions and discoveries: a retrospective view of Peru",  the second on September 9, 2016, the opening of a permanent exhibition of photographs and documents by Otto Horsky in Letovice Chateau entitled "Fifty Years of Cooperation with Peru" under the auspices of the Peruvian Ambassador to the Republic of Liliana DeOlarte de Torres-Muga, in Letovice dedicated to Eduard Ingris, also under the auspices of the Peruvian embassy. I consider this last action to be very significant, as it was also honored by Mrs. Nina Ingriš, who screened and accompanied the film by Eduard Ingriš Kantuta, on which a film recording was made. The opening ceremony of this "Peruvian afternoon" can be seen on the Lumír Sochorec  film on YouTube:

It may be worth mentioning that I am a regular contributor of blog-spot - blogspot.hz and the website www.klubhz.cz. I have mentioned these contributions not only to familiarize and inform the members of the club with the interests and experience of my travels, but also to discuss the current issues or problems. For example, in an article on the fortieth anniversary of the events of 1968 - My Geological August 21 in Prague or in a Short Statement on Defense Ing. Miroslav Zikmund, when some scribes sniffed him at his ninety-year anniversary - History will evaluate the work that remains.

In conclusion, I emphasize that all of my activities are always aimed at promoting the reputation of our club. Being aware that our Club should concentrate on true enthusiasts for the idea of the club's mission to use the H + Z traveler's link, I recommended to join Club H + Z MUDr. Hanu Zelenkovou, CSc and Ambassador Mgr.Ing. Jan Žižka and his wife Eva, who undoubtedly, although shortly after their membership, have not only mentioned themselves as very active members, but many times I myself have proved that they are very proud of their membership and promote our Club at home and abroad.
The concept of H + Z has indeed become a recognized brand. Without saying the names of both engineers, most people know who they are. I always mention both as a radiant example of two young educated people who, despite all the obstacles in the time of German or later Soviet occupation, have purposely pursued their aim and have become an example for many generation.
